Industrial Equipment Capital (IEC) has an opportunity for a full-time Regional Account Manager. This position is fully remote and located in Southeastern United States.

The Regional Account Manager contributes to the success of IEC by providing leasing and financing solutions in the following way:

• Responsible for the territory performance which includes achieving planned forecast
• Accountable for database management to ensure up to date and accurate information
• Ability to solicit, cultivate and maintain new and existing vendor and customer relationships
• Travel as needed to manage accounts, visit customers and customer prospects and attend tradeshows
• Communicate on at least a monthly basis with distributor/manufacturer team to keep IEC visual
• Maintain banking relationships
• Track portfolio exposure by bank
• Achieve target of obtaining at least two new vendors per year

The Skills

Individuals who ideally fit this role should meet the following qualifications:

• Must have a book of business and a minimum of 5 years sales/leasing experience in the machine tools, woodworking, packaging or stone equipment industries
• Must have strong negotiation and persuasion skills and demonstrated problem solving and decision-making
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and customer relationship building
• Experience and application of basic computer skills including sales software such as Quickbase, Word and Excel
• Must have strong initiative, competitive nature and strong goal orientation
• Must have excellent attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record with the Bureau of Motor Vehicles
