Sales Support Specialist

Industrial Equipment Capital (IEC) is growing and looking for a Sales Support Specialist to provide superior customer administrative support for all company business transactions while handling our contracts, vendors, banks and customers.

A day in the life of a Sales Support Specialist:

• Creates efficient processes for the coordination of the documentation of finance transactions that guarantee accuracy
• Handles communication between vendors, banks and customers in a timely, accurate and positive manner
• Loads documents into Quickbase Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and keeps backlog of orders updated in real time
• Sends correspondence to customers, such as Thank You notes, after each funding transaction
• Follows up on missing contract items prior to funding and coordinates with customers and banks to retrieve missing items to avoid unnecessary delays
• Notates all action items and communication in CRM to keep IEC team members apprised of activity
• Prepares UCC (Uniform Commercial Code) documentation, files UCC-1 Originations and UCC-3 Terminations with the appropriate states, and follows up on all steps in the process in a timely manner
• Communicates and coordinates orally and in writing with IEC sales team about transactions in a timely and positive manner
• Completes all invoicing by established deadlines
• Assists in collection of delinquent accounts on Warehouse Line
• Assists in closing the financials according to monthly and yearend closing procedure timelines

To join the team, you should meet the following qualifications:

• College degree in business administration preferred
• A minimum of 2-3 years administrative experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Previous experience utilizing CRM and accounting software experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software
• Time management, strong organizational skills, positive customer service attitude, and strong verbal and written communications skills required
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
• Professionalism and proactive ability to build long-term relationships with team members and customers
• Capable of working independently and following established processes
